Hello to all you fashion and beauty enthusiasts!

My first post for you is going to be a step by step on how to achieve that perfect winged liquid liner! This look has been popular for years and I believe it will continue to be an extremely on trend look. It’s classic, timeless and sexy! Apply a thinner line for an everyday type look. This will create the illusion of a bigger fuller lash line! Or, wear a thicker line for a night out on the town to encapsulate the bedroom eye – as they used to call it when our curvy bombshell Marilyn rocked it!

Step #1

Finish your eyeshadow look before applying your winged liquid liner. Here in the look below, I just used some nice warm neutral colours to really make the liner the focal point. Next up, decide how thick you want you line to be. Draw your line across the lash line, getting thinner as you move closer to the inner corner (tear duct). Then, use your lower lash line as your guide and extend it out and up creating your angle…

 Step #2

Next you are going to draw a line attaching the top of the lash line to the peak of the wing, as shown below in the first image. Then you simply fill in the gap, and clean up as needed!

Step #3

To finish the look, apply mascara and false lashes…

Here are the products I used for this tutorial…

1. A set of false lashes.

2. Liquid liner. You can use a gel, pen or pot! If you are a beginner I suggest trying out a pen, they can be very user friendly!

3. A black mascara.

Here is the completed look!

When doing a nice bold liquid line, I personally like to make that the focal point of the look. I finished with a soft pink lip and I kept the eyeshadow and bronzer/blush combo in the same colour family so everything blended together softly, leaving the liquid line bold and graphic.

If you enjoyed this look please keep reading as I will be posting my contour and highlighting techniques soon!
